Scholarship Criteria

Qualifications and Guidelines

With the ever increasing cost of post-secondary education, scholarships are critical for our students. The GSD Foundation administers donor-advised scholarships annually.

As of June 2023, the Girard School District Foundation provided $129,010 in scholarships to one hundred seventy-nine (179) deserving Girard High School students.

Sponsoring a scholarship acts as a way to provide grant-in-aid to a student and can be designed to have varying criteria, dollar amounts and funding cycles.

The GSDF has been grateful to so many individuals, families and businesses through the years who continue to lead in creating and sustaining sponsorships on behalf of District students.

Please see below for a complete listing of our current scholarships and learn about our past student recipients here.
