Q: What advice would you give to GHS students?

A: Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life!

Q: As you approach retirement, what wish do you have for the GSD community going forward?

A: I would love to see the Diversified Occupations program continue to grow under the leadership of Yvonne Conley! This co-op opportunity allows students to go out and work while earning credits and possibly obtain full-time employment upon graduation. I think it is very valuable that we make connections with community businesses in the school.

It not only helps students continue to grow as a student and be ready for the real world, yet I've seen so much value in the connections made between the businesses in our communities and our district.

Q: What are you most looking forward to about retirement?

A: I am going to follow my love for accounting and work in an office for a few years. I also plan on spending a great deal of quality time with my granddaughter, Giulianna!
