The Outstanding Accomplishments of our Alumni

The Hive of Fame was created to honor Girard School District alumni for their outstanding accomplishments in three categories: professional achievement, personal accomplishments, and community engagement.

Individuals and groups of individuals having graduated from Girard School District are eligible for nominations as well as posthumous nominations.

Nominations are open through the calendar year with an annual deadline of December 1st for same-year consideration.  

Once a nomination is received, the Hive nominating committee has a selection and scoring process for the consideration of inductee status.

When inductees are selected, the Hive Event Committee works to honor and invite the candidate and his/her guests to a dinner program in which the candidate is inducted as part of the GSDF's annual Spring ceremony.

During the ceremony, since 2012, past distinguished alumni inductees have shared special stories of their past experiences within the Girard School District, the community and bring incredible real life success examples and act as role models for our current students.
